What documents do I need before I can pick up my cargo? |

The
documents that are required are: Delivery Order and Customs Release.
All pickups must be cleared by Bermuda Customs and with the Bermuda Customs stamp on your paperwork. ** The only exception being if the goods are pre-cleared by Bermuda Customs. |

What is a dock pass and where can I get one? |
|
|
To gain
access to the Hamilton docks you must obtain a dock pass. No person(s) will be
allowed onto the Hamilton dock without a valid dock pass. Dock security is
controlled and administered by the Corporation of Hamilton. Dock Passes can be
obtained from the Corporation of Hamilton - Docks Administration Office at Shed
No. 6 Front Street, Hamilton (441-295-7724). |

What is demurrage? Who do I contact if I have questions about demurrage? |
|
|
Demurrage
is a fee charged for inventory left on Hamilton Dock after its free allotted
time. FCL is allowed five free days after discharge of vessel; and LCL is
allowed five free days after the last container is stripped.
